Jessica Bowers currently lives with her husband and two children in Waxhaw, NC, outside of the larger Charlotte area to which she has called home since college. In her first book, Wake Up; It's Time to Go to Life, she explores the never-ending struggle of balance in parenthood. Using short essays and poetry, she has managed to explain the common Mother experience in a comforting and unique voice.
